Remuneration/Benefit: From $140k plus incentive payment
About the role: A key role in which you will lead several areas from Accounts Payable, Transactional Procurement to Category Buying. You will manage an external team and provide support and encouragement that drives continuous improvement.
- Lead and supervise all areas of Accounts Payable, Transactional Procurement and Category Buying, including both the internal and external resources, to provide effective and efficient outcomes
- Ensure effective management and delivery of all transactional processes by monitoring
- Accounts Payable performance (manage systems and administer processes relating to vendor master data, vendor invoice processing, vendor payments, and vendor invoice query resolution)
- Buyer performance (purchase requisitions, RFQ’s, open orders) and
- Procurement helpdesk performance (responding to queries, creating purchase orders)
- Establish and monitor internal controls, segregation of duties, policies and procedures
- Supporting the teams internal coaching resources through the transition and embedment of a new outsourced provider
- Ensure the future external provider resources meet high performance standards and excellent customer service through monitoring and coaching
- Manage, maintain and conduct regular audits of access to accounts payable and procurement processes to ensure appropriate segregation of duties
About you: With extensive experience SAP, leading small teams of accounts payable and transactional procurements personal. You have clear communication and can adapt your style to suit all background. You have fantastic project management skills and mentoring is second nature to you.
- Experience in SAP (essential)
- Tertiary qualification (preferred)
- 5+ years’ experience in Accounts Payable and transactional procurements teams (essential)
- Exceptional time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast paced environment
- High level communication skills, both written & verbal and the ability to influence & negotiate with a diverse variety of key stakeholders
- Ability to effectively lead and manage a team (preferably offshore) with capability to optimise performance
