Haymans Oxenford is currently on the hunt for an enthusiastic and driven professional to join our fun and dynamic team! This is a unique opportunity for someone with superb interpersonal skills and a real flair for sales, looking to expand their skills and progress their career.

Your new role

As our new Internal Sales/Purchasing Officer, you will be responsible for providing efficient and exceptional customer service, primarily in the counter sales area. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Provision of customer service and sales, including the promotion of an extensive and diverse product set.
  • Actioning customer requests and enquiries face to face, over the phone and via email regarding pricing and electrical product information.
  • Liaising with suppliers to successfully process orders, purchase stock and assisting with customer consignment for electrical projects.
  • Inventory management as required.
  • Actively keeping in touch with customers and building strong, long-term working relationships.
  • Ensuring all orders are dispatched accurately and in a timely manner.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • You’re a driven and passionate professional with experience working in a sales or customer facing role within the electrical wholesale space.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and enjoy meeting people and building strong working relationships with customers.
  • A thirst for product knowledge and a real drive to learn new skills and build a long-term successful career.
  • You are committed to delivering exceptional customer service and prepared to think outside the box to provide the best possible solutions for your clients.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office (mainly Excel and Word) and demonstrate strong computer skills.
  • You have full Australian working rights, as sponsorship will not be offered for this role.
