Role Overview As a QA Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality standards are met throughout the lifecycle of the Collie BESS project. You will lead the quality assurance team, oversee QA processes, and ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications. Your expertise will be essential in identifying and mitigating risks, ensuring project deliverables meet or exceed client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the QA team, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
- Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC plans and procedures in alignment with project requirements and industry standards.
- Oversee all inspection and testing activities, ensuring all materials and workmanship meet the required quality standards.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all QA activities, including inspection reports, test results, and non-conformance reports.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards. Liaise with regulatory bodies and third-party inspectors as required.
- Identify areas for improvement in QA processes and implement best practices to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Identify potential quality risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on the project.
- Prepare and present regular QA reports to project management, highlighting key metrics, issues, and resolutions.
- Must hold a current WA Electrical License.
- Electrical trade qualification.
- At least 5 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably within the construction or energy sectors, with prior supervisory experience being highly desirable.
- Previous experience in a similar Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Quality Supervisor role.
- Relevant QA/QC certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, ASQ) are advantageous.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with proficiency in QA software and tools.
