About the Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified QA/QC professional with Welding Supervisor (Cert 10) accreditation to join our team, reporting directly to the Fabrication Manager. This role is primarily workshop-based, with occasional onsite work required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure quality assurance and quality control in welding and fabrication processes
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Maintain strong commitment to WH&S policies and procedures
- Work autonomously and take direction from the line manager
- Pass drug and alcohol testing as required
- Demonstrate experience in a QA/QC capacity within the mining maintenance and/or construction industry
Required Qualifications:
- Welder Supervisor Cert 10 AS2214 & AS1796
- Trade Qualification
- Valid driver’s licence
- Relevant QA/QC qualifications/tickets
- Experience and knowledge in Quality Management Systems
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Forklift licence
- Previous experience in the mining or similar industries
- Experience in structural fabrication and pipework
