About the Role
The Quality Control Assistant will be working specifically in the Cut and Fold team. The key responsibilities of the role are:
- Assist the QC Line Manager in ensuring the Cut and Fold Team deliver a consistent and acceptable level of quality
- Conduct QC checks at QC – Cut and Fold, and working with the Production members of the related areas
- Work closely with the QC Line Manager as required to assist QC process improvements
- Complete the daily activities of hands-on QC inspections in the Cut and Fold team and over all other QC roles when required
- Maintain a closed loop process for internal Quality Control to ensure that every quality defect is captured, rectified, a root cause identified and that corrective action is initiated to ensure there is no recurrence
- Participate in regular QC meetings, then action items resulting from the meetings related to your area of control
- Provide feedback to all Team Leaders as needed
- Provide relief/assistance across the Goulburn Operation for other QC Team Members as necessary
- Other tasks as delegated from the QC Line Manager, and other Hidrive management as required
