QC Inspector - Cosmetic Manufacturing

What you will do with us:We are looking for passionate science-based individuals to join us as Quality Control Inspectors in our Cosmetic Manufacturing operations based in Mt Kuring-Gai, NSW. Due to an internal promotion, we are now looking to replace 1 role.Having a Chemistry/Biotechnology/Microbiology is advantageous. Training will be given.Reporting Manager: Head of Quality.The main duties of this role include:

• Production Documentation: Prepare run sheets and required paperwork for the production lines, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Labeling and Shipment: Print and issue shipper labels when required.
• Line Inspections: Ensure the production lines commence, and verify that weights, packaging, labels, and other specifications are correct. Conduct line inspections at regular intervals.
• Retain Samples: Collect production retain samples for batch filled, ensuring proper storage and labeling.
• Raw Material and Packaging Sampling: test incoming goods before production to ensure they meet quality standards. Maintain databases for traceability.
• Training: Attend and complete training sessions on manual handling, production paperwork preparation

Skills and Experience

• A Degree in Chemistry/Biotechnology/Microbiology is advantageous.
• At least 1-3 years experience in a Quality Team or similar roles
• Technical Skills: Sound knowledge of MS Office applications
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-motivated, well-organized, and detail-oriented.
• Commitment to safety and compliance.
• Pleasant personality with a customer-focused approach.
• Capable of efficiently handling multiple tasks simultaneously
