Applicants must be available to work a flexible roster and be available 24/7 including public holidays to meet the business needs. This is a fulltime position, offering approximately 38 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities -
- Preparation and production of quality bakery products as per Bakers Delight standards.
- Ensure bread quality and range is up to standard and delivered in a timely manner to meet customer demands.
- Maintain an effective relationship with all team members of the bakery.
- Weighing flour and other ingredients to prepare dough.
- Operating machine and tools to prepare bakery products.
- Decorating products with glazes, icings, buttercream and editable toppings.
- Preparing pastry fillings.
- Coordinating the forming loading baking unloading de-panning and cooling of batches of bread, rolls and pastry products.
- Glazing buns & pastries
- Maintaining cleanliness of machines, tools and premises.
- Monitoring oven temperatures and product appearances to determine baking times.

- Have good numeracy and literacy skills
- Have a sound knowledge of food safety.
Previous Bakers Delight or similar bakery experience would be an advantage. Applicants who are trade qualified and/or have 3 years experience will have priority for this role.
Pay of $71,000 to $75,000 per year
