As part of the award-winning team at Lady Elliot Island Eco Resort, you'll be at the heart of one of the world's most renowned eco-tourism destinations.
We're on the lookout for a talented Chef to join our dynamic team and help us create unforgettable dining experiences against the backdrop of pristine coral reefs and turquoise waters. As a key member of our kitchen team, you'll work alongside our Head Chef to deliver exceptional culinary delights to our guests. To be considered for this position in this unique environment you must be able to demonstrate the following:
- A passion for cooking and hospitality
- Previous experience in bulk cooking
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Well organised with an attention to detail to maintain quality and service standards
- Have a current Food Safety Supervisor certificate
- A team player working well under pressure
- Maintain a professional approach at all time.
This is a fly in / fly out position with a roster requiring 10 days on the Island and 4 days off the island. Your accommodation and meals will be provided on the Island in assigned staff accommodation which includes your own room and shared bathroom facilities. As a remote appointment the only transport option is via light plane. The successful candidate will be recruited to fly in/out of Hervey Bay.
