- Installation and maintenance of plumbing and drainage systems.
- Read and interpret technical drawings/blueprints and specifications.
- Test, troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing and drainage systems to ensure they are functioning properly and make appropriate recommendations for repairs and replacements.
- Maintain tools and equipment to ensure that they are in good working condition and safe to use.
- Comply with safety legislations, regulations and standards including use of appropriate PPEs and following all safety procedures.
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs, explain the work that you will be doing.
- Accurate recording keeping of the job, including time spent on each job, material used, and any problems encountered using an electronic system.
- Comply with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain current knowledge of state regulations affecting plumbing work.
- Maintain and update industry specific license.
Knowledge
Must have proficient knowledge in the following areas:
- Water distribution and waste disposal in residential, commercial and industrial buildings
- Relevant building codes, legislation, regulations, environment policies and procedures
- Installation and maintenance

Qualifications & Requirements
- Licenced plumber and hold and maintain a plumbing license.
- Gas qualifications highly advantageous.
- Proven 3 years’ experience as a plumber in a fast-paced environment (Preferred but not mandatory).
- Current Blue or White Construction Card.
- Current and valid open driver’s license.
- Clear Criminal History Check.
- Have your own basic tools, including general trade hand tools and cordless power tools.
