UPM Plumbing & Excavations is a growing family business that has been established for more than 30 years. Our office and Workshop are Located at Dublin/Parham and we have an exciting opportunity for a permanent / Full time Plumber/Gas fitter position with immediate start being available to work in the Adelaide Plains & surrounding areas. Only 25-30 mins from northern metropolitan suburbs with minimal traffic. All Employee's are currently on above award rates. We do a wide range of work including commercial / Domestic / Industrial and some small Earthworks as well. We pride ourselves on good customer service and take pride in the quality of workmanship that is completed. We are looking for someone that takes pride in there work, honest and reliable and enjoys working in a team environment.

The Role & Key Responsibilities:

• Capable at trouble shooting, Fault finding and complete variety of installations
• New installations & replacements of Hot Water Units including repairs and Maintenance
• New installations & replacements of Gas appliances
• Blocked drains and Understanding of Drainage systems
• Locate Burst water pipes & repairs
• All aspects of Plumbing & Gas fitting Maintenance applications in both Commercial and Domestic environments
• New installations of Storm water, Wastewater/Septic systems
• Aerobic Wastewater Systems repairs & maintenance
• Being able to adhering to AS3500 and AS5601 regulations
• Read and interpreting of plumbing plans and wastewater reports

Able to work unsupervised in both Commercial and Maintenance applications, also have the willingness to learn. You will need to be able to communicate with clients and have skills in both written and electronic forms (Tablet & Mobile phone). Have the ability to work autonomously and also within a team environment. Be Reliable, Motivated and Punctual with a sound work ethic, while delivering quality service with a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail. Current unrestricted SA Driver's License and a current white card is essential.

Current First Aid certificate and Working with children clearance is desirable but not essential, but would be willing to obtain one.

• MR or HR Truck and/or any Machinery license (skid steer, excavator, backhoe)
• Aerobic Wastewater Treatment/Servicing technician. (Be willing to obtain one)
