Joining our team as a Quality and Continuous Improvement Coordinator is an opportunity to lead and define Quality and data driven process improvement, backed by certified quality system, The Downer Standard, from day one.
The role is dynamic, with a diverse range of responsibilities that will have you out and about on our network driving the scenic alpine region in the south-east and along the mighty Murray to the north, connecting with crews and subcontractors, solving problems, and driving improvement continuously as we deliver best for network, best for client, and best for road users. We want to drive change that uplifts network quality, team moral, and success across all Road Services business units within Downer.
What you'll bring
- Tertiary qualification in Quality Management Systems / Auditing or equivalent (highly advantageous)
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate internal audits
- An understanding of ISO/IEC 9001, 14001, 45001, 55001, 27001/2 requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to identify process inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement through performance data and trends
