The Quality Assurance Manager will ensure appropriate Quality strategies are in place to meet compliance and best practice for Pinnacle Drinks Packaging sites.This role works with teams from each site to implement, maintain, monitor and improve the quality and food safety management at Pinnacle Drinks Packaging sites and provide expertise and support to additional sites.Sound good? • Lead a small Quality Assurance team to oversee Quality for operations across Pinnacle Packaging and contract bottling sites
• Develop and implement Quality strategies for Pinnacle Packaging sites, aligning with the Endeavour Group strategies
• Maintain and improve Quality Systems for Pinnacle Packaging sites
• Support Packaging Sites to comply with Quality and Food Safety standards and certifications (particularly BRCGS & HACCP)
• Support third party Contract Packaging sites to develop Quality and Food Safety strategies
• Drive improvements in quality and food safety across the business, reducing risk and improving customer satisfaction
• Mentor all departments, providing education and support in regards to Quality and Food Safety
• Analyse Non-Conformance data, perform Root Cause analysis and implement and review corrective actions
• Lead investigation of Quality Non Conformance investigations and work closely with teams to implement improvements and corrective actions
• Conduct and support any group investigations including withdrawal and recall
• Assess and analyse quality performance data and report information to internal Stakeholders and regulatory bodies
• Liaise with Contractors, Suppliers and Customers on quality matters
• Keep up to date with relevant changes in Food Safety legislation and Standards.
• Keep up to date with product recall and withdrawals relevant to Industry
• Lead internal and External audits across the Group.
• Investigate and prioritise opportunities to work with various departments on Quality initiatives and improvements
• Mentor teams in best Quality and Food Safety Practices
• Promote Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental values to embed into the culture and ways of working

Now let's talk about you:

• Tertiary qualifications in Food Science/Chemistry or related field and formal auditor training
• Deep experience in Quality Management - Food manufacturing, exposure to the beverage industry will be well regarded
• Solid understanding of Quality & Food Safety Standards
• The ability to build strong working relationships including effective communication and leading with influence
• Ability to analyse Non-Conformances, Root Cause and apply Corrective actions
• Team leadership and people skills
• Travel between local sites is required
• Some interstate travel may be required
