Allspec Engineering is currently seeking a Quality Control Dimensional Checkerto join our successful workshop team. Our Fabrication Team deliver a wide range of fabrication projects which can include Chutes, Hoppers, Tanks, Structural Steel, Trusses and Conveyors.
About the role
Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will be a trade qualified Boilermaker with extensive experience with the fabrication and welding of structural steel work, piping and platework. Key duties will include, but not be limited to;
- Dimensional checking of fabricated items prior to and after welding.
- Interpreting technical drawings.
- Meeting deadlines and quality requirements.
- Ensuring welds are free from defects prior to release.
- Final release of product.
Experience required
- Boilermaker Trade Qualification.
- Extensive experience with the fabrication and welding of structural steel work, piping and platework.
- Attention to detail and Quality Control.
- Ability to multitask and plan ahead.
- Strong problem solving ability.
- Ability to adapt to change.
