About the role

• Having the responsibility of a work vehicle and a 2nd year apprentice.
• Working in residential and commercial high-end new-builds and developments.
• Working with exciting Solar projects with local council, homes and businesses to help create clean energy through Solar and battery installations.
• General and daily duties to workers on the site, ensuring that quality standards and safety precautions are followed and met.
• Training and coordinating an apprentice as needed, ensuring that they have the resources they need to fulfill their job requirements.
• Planning and reviewing the overall status of projects on an ongoing basis.
• Supervising and managing the use and maintenance of tools, materials and equipment.
• Coordinating the use of OHS policies, ensuring workplace compliance, and reporting hazards and near misses.
• Foster a workforce culture of excellence, innovation, honesty and teamwork is a big one!!
• A full-time position for the right person.

Skills and Experience required.

• A qualified electrician with at least 5 years trade experience and a few years residential experience a must!!
• Passionate about the renewable energy industry.
• Work great within a team environment.
• Take pride in your appearance and work life.
• Equipped with hand and power tools. 
• Ability to effectively communicate with builders/clients.
• Be very organised.
• Have attention to detail.
• A POSITIVE attitude!

Desirable

• Solar experience.
