Description
As the QA Manager, you will have the opportunity to contribute to their mission and make a significant impact within their Quality Culture.
The purpose of the Quality Manager is to lead and manage all aspects of the QA function and work closely with the R&D Department to drive new and improved projects across that function. A key responsibility is to support the businesses internal quality systems and processes, and ensure that all manufactured product complies with food safety, regulatory and quality requirements. Reporting directly to the Group Technical Manager you will help drive the quality assurance culture within the business. This is a hands on role that will require you to have a proven understanding of high risk food manufacturing and exposure to contract manufacturing.
Profile
To succeed you will need to be purpose-led, resilient and work at pace with lots of agility. Ideally you will be a tertiary qualified Quality Assurance Manager with a background in a science or food related discipline.
You will also have:
- Demonstrated knowledge of cook/chill manufacturing quality and regulatory processes.
- Minimum 10 years experience in a QA/Technical Leadership role.
- Proven experience working directly with co-manufacturers here in Australia and Overseas
- Excellent attention to detail, problem solving and process improvement skills.
- A strong understanding of food safety and regulatory best practice and implementing quality management systems to deliver these standards.
