SalaryOur client is a national food and beverage manufacturer of globally renowned brands. They are on the hunt for 2 x Quality Specialists to join their team, based in the western suburbs of Brisbane. Both roles are permanent, full-time positions.
The Role:
- Conducting internal audits and supporting external audits by maintaining compliance to site, national and customer Quality & Food Safety requirements.
- Customer compliant investigation, reporting and implementing corrective actions.
- Conducting laboratory testing and calibration of laboratory equipment, including monitoring of raw material receivals and ingredients
- Monitoring and testing of the water treatment facility
- Participate in continuous improvement projects
- Assist with identification of problems and non-conformances within the manufacturing process
To be considered for this position, applicants will require:
- A Degree in a Science discipline
- A minimum of 2 to 3 years, experience in a Quality Assurance role within the food manufacturing/ FMCG environment.
- Knowledge of GMP and SOP`s practices
- A demonstrated high level of communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
