The Opportunity:
Do you have the drive, skills and ability to work with us as part of our team, You will be supporting the Project Quality Surveillance and Inspection (QS&I) lead to ensure that an effective program of Quality Inspections is implemented at Vendors supplying equipment and materials to the project. This is a great opportunity to be part of an innovative team while obtaining valuable experience in fast-track project delivery.
In this role, some of the following duties you will undertake but not limited to:
- Liaise with engineering to establish the Equipment Criticality Rating and Quality Surveillance Level for equipment and materials.
- Manage QS&I resources i.e. both in-house inspectors and Inspectors from approved 3rd party inspection agencies.
- Prepare Inspection Assignment Packages to provide instructions and guidelines to the QS&I Inspectors.
- Manage Client interface to ensure the Client’s participation to QS&I activities.
- Support Package Engineer by participating in meetings with Vendors, Suppliers or Sub-suppliers.
- Review the Suppliers and Sub-supplier inspection and test plans to ensure they comply with the Project requirements
- Ensure that the QS&I Hold, Witness and Inspection activities are inserted and comply with the Project QS&I Plan
- Track Nonconformances identified during QS&I Inspections to ensure they are suitably addressed.
