Position Overview
- The Quantity Surveyor will assist with the preparation of Estimates, Bills of Quantities, Post Contract and other Quantity Surveying Services delegate to them under the direct control of the appropriate Director, Associate or Team Leader responsible for the particular projects.
- You may be required to represent the firm in meetings with clinets and consultatns and expected to maintain high professional standards in your dealings with them.

What Projects you will be involved in
Large Infrastructure Development projects / Utilities / Renewable Energy
What you will bring to the table
- A degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
- 2 to 5 years QS / Estimating Experience
- Relevant Australian Experience
- Must have full working rights to work in Australia

- Project Cost Plans
- Project estimates for the various phases of a project
- Cost Control - planning, forecasting and estimating
- Total Project Cost Development
- Bills of Quantities (measurement only)
- Cost Benefit Analysis
- Value Management
- Risk Analysis
- Benchmarking Analysis
- Tender Analysis
- Post Contract Services, Including:
- Assessment of progress claims
- Tender Analysis
- Financial Statements
- Cost Reports
- Programme Assessment
- Depreciation Schedules
- Life-cycle Analysis
- Replacement Cost Estimates
- Bulk checking as required
- Final Accounts
- Measurement of variations
- Application of Schedule rates as required
- Attending project and Site meetings
- Responsibility of the accuracy of work measured and priced
- Keeping abreast with Modes of Measurement
- Keeping abreast with building methods, procedures and prices
- Any other duties allocated by management
