Quarry Operator

Protech SA is seeking Quarry Operators for ongoing work located in Salisbury, with a focus on operating the weighbridge and crushing plant.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Immediate start available
• Casual, ongoing
• Full-time hours, Monday - Friday

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operating the weighbridge to manage product loads
• Operating the crushing plant to process materials
• Lifting, loading, and transporting product
• Loading hoppers
• General labouring tasks
• Basic maintenance and plant housekeeping
• Willingness to work across all facets of quarry activities
• Participation in safety initiatives including pre-starts, toolboxes, and incident reporting

TICKETS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Experience in weighbridge operation is highly regarded, but not essential
• Experience in crushing plant operation is highly regarded, but not essential
• Experience in mobile plant operation (loaders, trucks, etc.) is beneficial
• Quarry experience is highly regarded, but not essential
• Self-motivated with a strong commitment to safety and quality
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team with minimal supervision
• Positive attitude
