Opportunity to join our team as a casual Quarry Operator at our Ferny Grove Quarry in Brisbane, Queensland. This role will be reporting to the Quarry Manager and we are seeking applicants who are experienced operators, have a passion for safety and values a strong work ethic.
We are looking for candidates who are willing to work up to 12-hour days and 5.5-day weeks during our busy periods. This is causal leading to full-time for the right candidate.
Financials:
- Your 38hrs is spread over 4 days of 9.5 hours per day, the last day of the financial week and Saturdays are all overtime, (the first 2hrs of overtime is rate X 1.5 then all double time from then).
- You will be rewarded with a competitive and attractive hourly rate ($25 - $34ph depending on experience).
In your new role with us, you will:
- Operating Mobile Equipment including Dump Trucks, Front End Loaders and Excavators
- Operating the crushing and screening plant
- General fixed plant maintenance and inspections
- During busy periods we expect all employees to pitch in and perform any/all quarry tasks where needed
This role is a great fit for you if you have:
