About the role:
- Permanent, full time position with the world's largest building materials company

We are looking for a Quarry Operator for our Boambee site - candidates with machinery operation experience who wish to diversify into a quarry environment. Responsibilities in the role will include quarry work with loaders, operating water cart & dump truck, conducting plant condition inspections, identifying problems and taking corrective action to ensure continuous operation. You will apply preventative maintenance practices where appropriate whilst monitoring and reporting on any maintenance issues.
About you:
To succeed in this key role it is preferable to demonstrate experience in the following areas:
- Experience with Front end loader operations preferable.
- Dump truck operations experience is preferable.
- Water cart operations experience is preferable.
- Sales loader experience - experience with the load rite system on loader for correct weight on road trucks preferable.
- Experience in sand operations is preferred but not essential.
- Familiarity with quarry products and QA manufacturing / stockpiling process preferable, will provide training
- Equipment maintenance experience preferable.
- You must have strong attention to detail i.e. with product pile management
- You must be flexible and willing to work across all facets of quarry activities
