My client, operating within the Energy Industry is looking for an Accounts Receivable Officer to join their Shared Services team on a long-term basis.The Shared Services team is responsible for ensuring the Accounts Payable (AP) / Accounts Receivable (AR) accounting and reporting requirements are completed accurately and efficiently. The Shared Services team is responsible for delivering day to day AP/AR operations, financial reporting, and Purchase Order (PO) management, invoicing, reconciliations, and debt collection.Role: Accounts Receivable Officer
Type: 12 months temp role (possibility to go perm)
Work type: Hybrid
Salary/Pay: $35 - $40/hour + Super
Location: Sydney, CBDResponsibilities:

• Managing the AR inbox daily including receipting of payments
• Manage the debtor list ensuring successful collections of outstanding debts
• Assist with solving customer’s disputes or enquiries that withhold payments
• Managing invoicing activities
• Support team members as and when required

Requirements:

• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Previous NetSuite or large ERP system experience
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Team player
• Strong attention to detail
• Positive, can-do attitude
• Competent using Microsoft Excel
• Effective time management and ability to prioritise tasks
