The Tweed Hospital is in search of a reliable and enthusiastic Radiographer to join their fast-paced professional team. In this role you are required to manage the day-to-day operations of the angiography services which include but are not limited to Hybrid Theatres and the Interventional Radiography Suite, ensuring that all patients/clients have equitable and appropriate access along with performing high quality diagnostic imaging for the purpose of clinical diagnosis using complex clinical procedures.
If you have:
- Current registration with Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia as a Medical Radiation Practitioner - Diagnostic Radiographer. Current registration with the EPA with eligibility for supervision and required student licencing exemption.
- Ability to manage integrated radiology systems including angiography, PACS/RIS, general x-ray and fluoroscopy in the theatre setting.
- Advanced level of knowledge of current legislative requirements, policies and issues which affect imaging practice, and the ability to formulate and implement strategies (including policies and procedures) to deal effectively with these issues to ensure the provision of evidence-based practice and patient care.
