ABOUT THE POSITION:Join the St Vincent’s Private Hospital Northside team as Radiographer in our Cardiac Catheter Lab at our state-of-the-art Chermside location. This is a part time position where the Radiographer’s purpose is to provide professional expertise and technical support in relation to radiological and imaging requirements.
This is a great opportunity for a Radiographer to expand their clinical knowledge, skills and experience by getting exposure to a wide variety of cardiac and vascular procedures. This is a fast-paced Cath Lab and hybrid operating theatre with state-of-the-art equipment and a supportive and professional team. Key responsibilities include:Safe operation of radiographic equipment and provision of guided support and direction to the clinician
Delivery of a high standard of medical imaging, utilising multiple modalities and appropriate image storage and maintenance
Practice of the ALARA principle to ensure dose to patients, staff and clinicians is maintained as low as reasonably achievable
