About the role We are currently seeking a Rail Superintendent for our Rail Operations hub in Perth. Rail Operations is an internal Business unit within Laing O’Rourke, specialising in sole delivery of all aspects of Rail, working with a team of technical experts to deliver a high portfolio of work across Western Australia.  Key responsibilities Providing direction into the master construction plan. Managing a team of Superintendents, Supervisors and the blue-collar workforce to achieve project objectives. Review and endorse the planning and programming daily construction activities. Oversee resource allocation to ensure all projects are suitably covered. Lead section meetings and review progress in productivity and achievement of commercial requirements. Contribute to the contract review process and ensure effective implementation of Laing O’Rourke’s project management systems and procedures. About you A relevant trade qualification combined with significant construction & maintenance delivery experience in the rail industry A collaborative style of leadership and effective communication both written and oral Have excellent client interface, coordination, time management and safety leadership skills Benefits We work hard to create an environment that brings out the best in our people.
