Position Overview:
We require the services of dynamic, high performing Raisebore Project Supervisors to work on our various mining projects.
- Support the achievement of the Project Schedule and deliverables.
- Ensure required materials, hire equipment and sub contract services are ordered in a timely manner.
- Manage the general operations of the Raisebore machine including delays
- Minimise project or equipment down time due to avoidable delays. E.g. failure to order materials, staff resources and equipment damage.
- Identify potential loss scenarios and ensure action plans are in place to minimise the risk of losses.
- Support the start-up meeting in line with project deliverables.
- Ensure the is a system for planning/ reviewing holes with the crew that include controls for geotechnical and hydrological risks that may be identified in site investigation and geotechnical reports provided by the Client.
- Ensure there is a procedure in place for reviewing drill plans and risk controls with Client to ensure control measures and recovery methods are agreed.
- Participate in regular meetings with internal stake holders.
- Understand what cost and resource assumptions have been included in the project tender.
- Manage site costs in line with the project budget to produce the best return for Mancala
- Manage crews including rostering and coordinating travel with head office.
- Opportunity to work on projects for mines, energy producers and civil construction.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Project Supervisor
- S1, S2& S3 (Queensland Site Supervisors Certificate) - Preferable
- Competent in the use of Microsoft office suite
- Strong leadership skills including good communication and delegation
- Effective planning and organising skills including establishment of goals, setting priorities, schedule activities and arrange necessary resources;
- Demonstrate high-level communication and interpersonal skills
- Working rights in Australia
- Ability to pass Pre-employment Medical and National Police Clearance
