The PositionThe City is offering an exciting opportunity for a highly driven
Rates Experience Officer to join the Rates and Revenue team.The successful applicant will be a can-do person who is team orientated, highly customer focused, self-motivated and well organised. This role will involve the administration and processing of pensioner and senior rates entitlements with a high level of customer service.
The successful applicant will have- Previous experience in a Rates function (or similar).
- Substantial experience working with computerised financial systems within a financial environment and MS Office.
- Ability to demonstrate a high degree of initiative and confidentiality when dealing with internal and external customers.
- Well-developed customer service and time management skills.
- High level of communication skills (both written and verbal) including ability to negotiate with ratepayers and resolve conflict situations with difficult customers.
- Well-developed problem solving and analytical skills.
Hours: This role is permanent and part-time at 46 hours per fortnight.
