AUS are currently seeking Drillers (both relief and senior) with Reverse Circulation to join our team.
About the role:
- 2:1 Roster
- 12 hours shifts
- $51.41 per hour
- Immediate start available
- FIFO Ex. Perth
Driller duties & responsibilities include:
- Prepare for, run and close down drilling operations
- Experience in RC and/or AC drilling
- Allocate work tasks appropriate to crew member skills
- Mechanical aptitude, strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet.
- Operational maintenance of plant and equipment for both company and client onsite
- Conduct regular inspections (safety & operational) of drill rigs, drill equipment and support vehicles
- Provide regular and concise reports on all daily activities, both written and oral.
- Liaise with employees and client representatives in a professional manner
- Ensure the safety of employees and site visitors
Skills and Training Requirements:
- 'HR' unrestricted drivers licence
- 3+ years full time experience on surface drilling equipment
- Cert IIl in Drilling (or studying towards)
- White Card
- National Police Clearance (less than 3 months old)
- Physically fit and have good physical dexterity.
- Be prepared to work in a variety of environments
- Able to pass PEM and DAS as well a routine Health Surveillance monitoring.
Beneficial qualifications (preferred):
- Cert lV in Drilling (or studying towards)
- Current First Aid certification
- Fire Training
- Current 4WD certification
- Cert lll or lV in Drilling
- Working at Heights
