As an R&D Associate you'll merge your scientific skills with technical know-how and work collaboratively across functions to expand your expertise.
Your responsibilities:
- Lead development of innovation for our Pest products
- Have responsibility from concept to launch
- Work closely with our cross functional teams to bring new innovations to market
- Perform or oversee technical tasks to uphold the highest standards in our dynamic R & D environment.
- Guide assistants to help them develop in their scientific skill and career
- Build and share your technical expertise in our product portfolio, embracing Reckitt's innovative spirit and operating models
- Perform various administrative tasks
- Carry out formulations and product benchmarking
- Develop knowledge of scientific publications, studies and product formulations in area covered by expertise to substantiate key product claims
- Prepare claims substantiation studies and documents.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in product development & innovation
- Experience within a lab setting – Development Scientist, R&D Assistant etc.
- Experience in wet and physical chemistry testing
- 3-5 years’ experience in the FMCG industry i.e. cosmetics, pest etc.
- A strong and demonstrable understanding of the development process
- Suitable tertiary degree in a Scientific discipline
- Solid background in R & D, or related areas like Regulatory, Safety, or Supply.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate on projects and a history of successfully meeting delivery targets.
- Independent work style, complemented by strong problem-solving and organisational talents.
- Communicative and influential, you're a team player who knows how to get things done.
- An affinity for innovation and improvement, challenging the norm when needed.
