R&D Bioprocessing Scientist

About the role –

• Start ASAP in a reputable pharmaceutical company
• Experience in cell culture and recombinant protein expression to support the Cell Line Development team.
• Screening of mammalian cell lines for the manufacture of biologics and early-phase upstream process development using a semi-automated mini bioreactor system.

About your responsibilities:

• Planning and careful execution of experiments.
• Accurate and timely data collection including documentation of experiments.
• Participate in the analysis of data in conjunction with the team.
• Author documents including experimental protocols and reports.
• Communicate ideas and results succinctly to the team in reports and presentations.
• Coordination of activities with other parts of the Research and Product Development organizations.
• Monitoring of process and analyze data in real time, making buffers
• Partially programming a robot.
• Statistical planning and analysis
• Presenting in lab meetings and wider R&D community
• Coordination with other departments

About you –

• Previously worked in Mammalian cell culture, bioreactor experience is a must have.
• Has PhD in this area or Master’s degree with few years of experience.
• Excellent communication skills
• Independent, quick learner and self-motivated
• Programming skills is beneficial.
