Reception Supervisor-Kimberley Region-Remote Western AustraliaWe have an amazing opportunity available for an experienced Reception Supervisorfor this busy property located in the spectacular Kimberley Region of remote Western Australia.
The successful candidate will be seeking a 100% hands on role and have extensive front office experience, as well as experience training, mentoring and supervising a front office team. This is a senior role answering to the Front Office Manager.
Candidates may be required to work across the company's other venues.
Offering accommodation, caravan park, restaurant, function room, bistro and tour operations. This is a very busy property, catering to corporate contractors and tourism.
The group owns several properties in town and are a fantastic employer to work for.
As the role is based in the amazing Kimberley Region, there are spectacular sights to visit on your days off, such as gorges, canyons and caves. Learn new skills, see amazing locations and also be exposed to a fascinating culture with many significant cultural sites to visit.
Package:
- $65,000 Salary + Super
- Discounted Accommodation & Meals
- 4 Weeks Annual Leave
- Minimum 12 Month Contract
Reservations System:
CMS (Guest Centrix) & Lavart Booking system
Duties:
- Day to day supervising of front office reception answering to the front office manager
- Staff training and supervision
- Guest arrivals, departures and reservations including group reservations
- Responding to general phone, email and internet inquiries
- Cashing up and balancing of tills, end of day balancing
- General reception administration work
- Liaising with coach groups, FIT's and Corporate clients
- Other directions from the front office manager
Candidate Requirements:
- The successful candidate will need previous front office experience ideally using CMS or similar programme
- Be able to supervise and train 4-6 front office reception staff in peak season
- Be 100% hands on
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment
- Current Drivers Licence preferred but not essential
- Have excellent communication skills
