Our client is a large, well established, Tier 1 Remedial Building Company that has been specialising in Residential and Commercial Remedial projects and Re-cladding projects for over 50 years working across NSW and QLD.
The Role
Our client currently has an exciting opportunity for a full-time receptionist to join the Queensland team in their new offices in Banyo.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Front desk duties including answering and redirecting calls
- Greeting visitors and managing visitor logs.
- Maintaining computer and manual filing systems.
- Carrying out administrative duties
- Monitoring and managing office supplies.
- Document management
- Other ad hoc administration tasks as required.
What are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a receptionist (essential) in the construction industry (preferred) and be comfortable being the first-person people see or hear when they contact the Queensland office. It’s important that you have:
- A minimum of 2-3 years recent experience as a receptionist
- Solid office administration skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational, scheduling and multi-tasking capability.
- A professional and clear telephone manner
- A polished and professional presentation
- Experience across the Microsoft office suite
- Strong time management skills
