We are a small, family owned Exercise Physiology business that pride ourselves on creating a beautiful place where we can help many people overcome injuries, illnesses and become the best version of themselves. We have a fully equipped private Pilates Studio and Gym for our clients and ourselves. You will also have access to free classes each week as part of your employment. We work very closely together, have lots of laughs and share the health journey of many amazing people. We also run regular social events and challenges to build our community and bring everyone together. This role is more than just a job. It is about joining our community and being part of the Studio Ness team.
Qualifications & experience
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must love people. Be bright and bubbly. Be patient and realise we have the privilege of working with people at their most vulnerable and fragile.
- Proactive approach to problem solving and the ability to take initiative.
- Proficiency in computer literacy and willingness to learn new software and systems.
- Website/ social media experience would be AMAZING, but not a necessity.
- No previous experience required, just a fun, enthusiastic, team player attitude.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Be the welcoming face of Studio Ness.
- Scheduling and coordinating patient appointments.
- Respond to patient inquiries via phone, email and in-person interactions.
- Process patient accounts and invoicing. This includes Private Health, Medicare, DVA, Home Care Packages, Insurance companies and NDIS.
- Liaise with referrers such as GPs and Nursing staff, Care coordinators and other Healthcare providers.
- Undertaking other general office duties as required to support the smooth functioning of the clinic e.g. vacuuming, tidying up, coffee runs next door, watering plants, etc...
