Position Overview:
We are seeking a professional and courteous receptionist to manage our front desk and provide outstanding customer service to our clients, visitors, and staff. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for anyone entering our premises and will represent our company with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests with a positive attitude, providing them with an excellent first impression of the company.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable at all times.
- Maintain security by following procedures and controlling access via the reception desk.
- Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries.
- Assist in scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.
- Keep inventory of office supplies and place orders when necessary.
- Assist other departments with administrative tasks as needed;
- Cleaning of the office.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a receptionist desirable but not necessary.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly and professional demeanor with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification preferred.
