THE OPPORTUNITY Salary: $78,564 - $111,391 per annum pro rata + 11% super (depending on qualifications and experience).Time Fraction: Part Time, 0.4 EFT.Location: Drummond Street campus.WWCC: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check.Position Status: Ongoing appointment, with a 6-month qualifying period.The Centre for Energy and Infrastructure provides interactive/real-life work simulations and, a hands-on supportive teaching environment with strong industry links. The department is currently seeking an industry-focused and business-minded individual to effectively assess and make sure learners provide appropriate evidence that will allow smooth completion of the assessment.The successful applicant will also be expected to participate in all facets of the learning process from course enquiry and advice to assessing and determining the educational and training requirements of students, develop resources and assessment tools to support educational delivery, and maintain relationships as appropriate with industry and key stakeholders.ABOUT YOUAn approved degree, diploma or certificate in a relevant vocational area, or approved equivalent qualifications, at least to the level being delivered and assessed; andCertificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE 40116); orCertificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE 40110) including the units TAELLN411 & TAEASS502.Current industry knowledge directly relevant to the training and assessment being delivered, with a particular emphasis on current technology and industry practice.Using analytical, ICT and organisational skills, adapt delivery and assessment to meet student needs.Highly developed interpersonal skills and written and verbal communications skills with a demonstrated ability to liaise effectively with students, the public and industry and relevant stakeholders.The ability to work as a self-directed member of a team including a demonstrated ability maintain accurate records and to foster a spirit of teamwork to ensure the achievement of common goals.ABOUT USHolmesglen is a leading education provider, valued by local and international learners, industry and the community.
