I am currently partnered with a State Government Organisation looking to recruit a Recovery and Performance Officer.
Your new role
You will be responsible for supporting the Recovery, Planning & Performance Division in delivering key initiatives to support the recovery of injured workers. The role will work directly with internal and external stakeholders to drive the development and evaluation of initiatives that improve recovery outcomes. This role will be part of a flexible pool of resources that is responsible for discrete programs to support treatment providers.
Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
Support the development, implementation and evaluation of health initiatives
Provide expertise and consult with internal and external stakeholders to ensure design and delivery of recovery related initiatives meet business and customer needs.
Support the development and implementation of predictive data analysis and dashboard reporting for health and disability services.
Undertake complex analysis of performance data to identify improvement opportunities, gaps and risks, providing recommendations on how to manage escalating issues, anomalies or opportunities.
Assist with the development, ongoing management and reporting of provider contracts including tender processes.
Assist in the environmental and industry research, development and implementation of health related programs of work including but not limited to the development of policy and guidance materials.
Contribute to continual improvement in systems and processes to ensure effective and efficient operations.
What you'll need to succeed
Strong experience in executing quality written reports, briefs, presentations, training and strategic communications (oral and written) for internal and external stakeholders.
Comprehensive understanding of the legal, policy and operational environment (health and/or insurance) and proven ability to deliver improvement initiatives and programs of work supported by research, analysis and customer needs.
Project experience, scheduling complex programs of work, planning, delivery, risk assessments, gap analysis and the application of agile project methodologies.
Demonstrated ability to liaise in a professional manner with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent communication, customer service, interpersonal and consultative skills.
Ability to analyse, isolate and interpret business and customer needs to develop relevant and appropriate solutions, ideas and recommendations.
Demonstrated ability working in an ambiguous environment where a responsive and flexible approach is required to ensure changing priorities and competing demands are met.
Excellent time management, prioritisation and organisational skills and an ability to meet tight deadlines.
Must be willing to attend Geelong office minimum 3 days a week
Intermediate computer skills in Word, Excel, Project Management applications, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Relevant tertiary qualification(s) in a health, disability or program management field.
