About the role:
The Recruitment Officer coordinates all aspects of our internal recruitment function covering professional, trade and technical roles. The role is full time permanent reporting to the HR Manager within our corporate office based in Coopers Plains, Queensland.
- End to end recruitment involving placing job ads, screening candidates, phone interviews, conducting employment checks, organising pre-employment medicals and completing onboarding processes.
- Maintain the Recruitment Inbox
- Maintain the UML website Careers page
- Maintain recruitment letters of offer, contracts and forms
- Ensure compliance with Employee Collective Agreement (ECA) and Award terms
- Provide recruitment metrics for analysis and reporting to UML Management.
About the candidate:
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Strong Confidentiality skills
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Competent with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- Ability to work autonomously
- Demonstrated Recruitment experience, minimum 3 years
- Qualifications in Business / Administration / Human Resources
