Right at Home Greater Logan is a leading provider of quality in-home care. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for those we serve ensuring the Right Care, Right at Home.  We support people living with complex and post-operative care needs, dementia and cognitive decline, seniors, and adults living with a disability including NDIS participants. Our services help clients to remain safe and independent in their homes.

We are a fast growing, family owned business, that is seeking a highly positive, team player to join our Greater Logan office based in Shailer Park.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Recruitment Officer to take on an entry-level to low level experience, internal recruitment role. You will be the primary recruiter for our care staff, who are responsible for directly delivering care to our clients.

About the Role:

  • Placing job ads using various platforms for the recruitment of care staff.
  • Phone screening applicants.
  • In-office interviews for successful phone screen candidates.
  • Conducting and coordinating 3-4 hour orientations 1-2 times per fortnight with successful care staff candidates.
  • Liaising with clinical team to ensure recruitment needs being met for our clients.
  • This role could progress to a HR / People & Culture role for the right candidate.

Qualifications

Preferred

  • A qualification in any of the following areas: Cert IV in Human Resource, Diploma Human Resources Management, Degree in Business or similar type of field.
  • Previous experience in a recruitment role.
  • Previous experience in the aged/disability industry.

Essential

  • Criminal History Check certificate.
  • High level of computer literacy and understanding of technology.
  • Possess a 'can-do' positive attitude and works well in a team environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to problem solve and think quickly under pressure.
  • An outgoing personality with high energy levels, good communication skills and personable telephone manner.
  • Excellent customer service skills with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
