- Department for Health and Wellbeing - SA Health Library Service - Central Adelaide Local Health Network
- Salary: $86,950 to $96,223 (Pro-Rata) - PO2 - Part-Time 0.8 FTE / Term Contract (Temporary up to 7 months)
- The SA Health Library Service (SAHLS) provides a high quality, evidence-based library service to support the clinical, educational, research and public health needs of the SA Health workforce.
- The PO2 Reference Librarian participates in the delivery of a high-level reference and information service for SA Health including literature searches, reference work, research support, and training and education programs.
- Active promotion of library services at the Central Adelaide Local Health Network to ensure that all staff are aware of the knowledge resources and library services available to support their work.
- Conducting literature searches, often on complex health topics, utilising a wide range of databases.
- Implementing and delivering formal and informal user education programs appropriate for a broad range of client groups across the whole of SA Health.
- Implementing strategies for SA Health staff to utilise evidence-based resources for patient care, research, training, and administration to achieve better patient care and health policy outcomes.
- Eligibility for professional membership of the Australian Library and Information Association requiring tertiary qualifications in librarianship/information studies.
- Demonstrated high level research, reference, and information retrieval skills.
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills, verbal and written, with staff and students at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to implement and deliver education and training programs in person and online.
- Working as a member of a highly motivated, supportive team of professionals

Criminal History Screening Requirement
- A National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving no contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position (general employment)

Special Conditions
