ABOUT THE ROLE:
We currently have an ongoing full-time opportunity for a qualified Refrigeration Service Mechanic within our Service team, reporting to the Service and Electrical Manager. The role focuses on providing HVAC maintenance, break down, and installation services to our commercial, industrial and government customers.
Summary responsibilities:
- Fault-finding, diagnosis, servicing, and repairing HVAC equipment
- Install, commission, service, and maintain equipment
- Potential for after-hours work and to be on a rotational on-call roster
ABOUT YOU:
To be a success in this role, you’ll have a natural ability for assessing defective HVAC assets and providing accurate diagnosis and solutions appropriate to the customers’ needs. You’ll be detail orientated, enabling you to install HVAC assets according to manufacturers’ instructions.
You will be working closely with all team members within JO Miller Group as well as externally with our customers, contractors and suppliers. It is therefore important that you can communicate effectively at all levels, be a team player and place excellent customer service at the center of everything you do.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Well-developed fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent written and technical communication skills, time management and organisational skills.
- A proven ability to effectively operate autonomously and unsupervised.
- Valid full ARC License, Electrical (D license), and current drivers’ license.
- Demonstrated competency in utilising the latest in app technology to manage job workflows.
