About the Role
Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor the Refrigeration Technician will undertake day-to-day preventative maintenance activities and breakdown repairs of commercial and domestic installations in a safe and efficient manner to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and liveability in our NPI FIFO Villages. The location of this role is within NPI camps, based at one of our Pilbara locations.
Reporting to the Supervisor NPI (Non-Process Infrastructure), your role will include but not be limited to:
- Demonstrate an overriding commitment to health, safety, environment responsibility and sustainable development at all times;
- Undertake preventative maintenance inspections of plant and equipment;
- Ensure adequate scoping of corrective work to facilitate the planning process;
- Cultivate positive relationships through effective communication and consultation;
- Take a proactive role in maintaining appropriate standards of behaviour;
- Participate within the Village Maintenance team to implement business plans consistent with site strategies / plans;
- Monitor the village maintenance work plan and escalate unplanned and non-routine activity or performance to the Supervisor;
- Perform all aspects of planned, breakdown and shutdown activities in regard to village maintenance;
About You
As the successful candidate, you will possess the following:
- Trade Certificate, Refrigeration Mechanic
- Full Refrigerant Handling Licence registered with the Australian Refrigeration Council (ARC)
- Valid Australian driver’s license
- EWP, Forklift, Working at Heights Certificates (Desirable)
- Experience in commercial and domestic refrigeration systems
- FIFO Village maintenance and operation background highly (desirable).
- Computer Literacy to use the following systems - 1SAP, Fiori, MS Excel and Word
