Key duties and responsibilities:
- Visit every store in your network weekly / monthly depending on what is required.
- Work closely with stores to ensure all merchandising and VM standards are adhered to and that sales budgets are meet
- Staff training and onboarding
- Manager training to ensure that they have the skill set required to manage a team of people and work their roster efficiently
- Working with stores to help achieve their sales budgets
- Control wage spend to ensure that the stores have adequate staff coverage to meet their projected sales within their staffing budgets
- Working with the merchandising team to ensure that store product requirements are met
- Working with our Allocators to identify any issues with the store stock levels or product mix
- Hiring and managing staff
- New store set up and staffing
- Overseeing store refurbishments
- Stocktakes
- Understanding of award conditions within the retail sector and ensuring that we adhering to the regulations
- Be the conduit between the office and the stores
The skills and experience you offer us:
- Retail management is essential.
- Experience working in a footwear business is desirable
- Flexibility to be able to travel and spend nights away from home
- Good understanding of Ceridian / Dayforce system
- A professional but friendly nature
- Excellent communication, numerical and analytical skills
- Good communication skills, ensuring that all emails and phone calls are answered in a timely manner.
- Ability to work on more than one thing at a time.
- Ability to think laterally and have a proactive approach.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment while maintaining accuracy.
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills
- Build relationships with team members across the business.
