Maurice Blackburn, experience you can count on.About the RoleWe are looking for a Practice Manager to join our Road and Work team across our regional Victorian locations, based out of Traralgon on a full time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and demonstrating Maurice Blackburn's values of courage, compassion, collaboration, fairness and tenacity in our daily work to assist in going Fearlessly Forward to achieve our purpose - we exist to extend access to justice, so the law can serve everyone.You will be responsible for the practice management including people management, resourceplanning, client intake, financial management and budgeting. An essential part of this role is to ensure exceptional service is provided to clients and stakeholders at all times.The experience we are looking for:
- Demonstrated business development experience in a legal environment
- Advanced leadership and management
- Ability to think strategically and forward plan
- Outstanding client service attributes that include a professional image, client service focus, active listening and sound negotiation skills
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making and analytical capabilities with the ability to use judgement about escalation of issues and information
- Able to build rapport with people with varying levels of seniority
- Proficiency in Mattersphere and 3E is required
- Holds a valid relevant Practicing Certificate
