About the Role:
Working for our Corporate Nursing pool, you will have exposure to a range of different area's in our hospitals, the opportunity to gain a broad understanding of various medical specialties and the potential to expand your professional skillset. The role will include:
- Dealing with diverse patient cases to enhance your adaptability and critical thinking skills, and exposure to different areas to provide a holistic view of patient care.
- Supporting rostering shortfalls, you will ensure a continuity of care to our patients and help SALHN to maintain our excellent service quality.
- The opportunity to work in the Intensive Care Unit, Emergency Department, Neonatal Unit and more!
You will be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse and or Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and who holds or who is eligible to hold a current practicing certificate.
About you:
- Available to work at least .4FTE or more, and to work earlies, lates, and nights across a 7 day roster
- You will possess effective communication skills including, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
- The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary, be creative innovative and flexible when approaching issues within a healthcare setting.
- The ability to prioritise workload and demonstrated commitment to providing consumer/client and family centred care.
