We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Midwife for an immediate start at a large hospital located 7 hours west of Sydney. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team in a busy maternity ward for a 12-week contract, with the possibility of extension.
Duties
- Provide high-quality care to mothers and babies in the 10-bed maternity ward.
- Work collaboratively with a supportive team of healthcare professionals.
- Assist with labor and delivery, providing emotional and physical support to mothers.
- Educate and support new mothers on breastfeeding, newborn care, and postpartum recovery.
Skills & experience
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Midwife.
- Unrestricted AHPRA registration.
- Statements of service outlining hours worked.
- National Police Check.
- NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain.
- Prior experience in maternity is essential.
