Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit
We are seeking enthusiastic, proactive Registered Nurse for our Intensive Care Unit in Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital. This is a great opportunity for nursing professionals looking to continue to develop their skills and be a part of a community focused nursing team. The position is being offered on a temporary part time basis.
Employment Type: Temporary Part Time until 6 November 2025 (with possibility of ongoing employment)

Remuneration: $35.33 - $49.60 per hour

Where you'll be working
Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital ICU is a 12 bedded unit caring mainly for adult patients.
What you'll be doing
The NSLHD Nursing and Midwifery Workforce will be compassionate, competent, confident, contemporary, capable and committed to leading person-centred health care.
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individual/s and the greater health care team to achieve quality patient care outcome.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Consistently demonstrates behaviours that reinforce the CORE Values of our organisation; Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment. Demonstrates these behaviours with all stakeholders; colleagues, direct reports, as well as our patients and consumers, and those that care for them.
  • Registered Nurse - Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Current acute hospital experience and clinical knowledge and clinical problem solving ability.
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • A commitment to excellence in nursing practice and continuing professional development.
