What you'll be doing

This is an exciting, once in a career opportunity to join the new statewide workforce pool known as ‘CRU’, the Central Resource Unit (CRU) 

We are looking for Registered Nurses to deliver person-centered nursing care in a variety of hospital and facility settings, collaborating with individuals and multidisciplinary health care teams. The model also offers the opportunity to experience a variety of roles within nursing.

Where you'll be working

The CRU Registered Nurse workforce will be deployed to locations for anywhere between two and thirteen weeks to support short-term staffing needs. You will have the opportunity to work across a variety of health settings when on deployment. These deployments will make up the majority of your time in the position.

Selection Criteria

• Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse
• Demonstrated competencies in and knowledge of the complexities and challenges involved in providing nursing care in the context of a multidisciplinary team
• Demonstrated ability to supervise, delegate, and negotiate with others to deliver quality nursing care with a willingness to show leadership and embrace change in the coordination and delivery of care.
• Recent clinical experience relevant to the position including evidence of participation in own professional development and commitment to maintaining competence and enhancement of skills
• Current drivers’ licence with capacity and willingness to travel to NSW Health business and service locations throughout NSW which will include overnight stays in regional / remote areas. These deployments will make up the majority of your time in the position.
