As an ED Registered Nurse (with Triage competency) work closely and collaboratively with WA Emergency Department staffs and deliver safe and efficient patient care. Triage patients according to urgency of their need for care. Reporting to the Clinical Nurse Manager, lead a team of nurses and nursing assistants on the hospital floor.
Key Requirements For Success:
- Must be Triage competent or have experience with ETS Triage
- Coordinate the daily shift and allocate tasks to other Nurses
- Perform IV Cannulation
- Conduct A to E Assessments
- Develop rapport with patients and family
- Must have minimum of 2 years experience working in ED
Essential Compliances:
- Current and unrestricted AHPRA
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Triage Certificate
- National Police Clearance (Obtained within the last 12 months)
- Working with Children Check
- Manual Handling. Aseptic Technique and Hand Hygiene Certificates
- ALS/BLS and PALS
- Australian Working Rights
- 100 points ID check: Driver’s License, Passport, etc
- Immunisation and Serology Record
