We are seeking a dynamic & experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Bethanie Bert England Lodge, our aged care home located in Rockingham. Bert England Lodge (BEL) is a 44 bed facility offering dementia care as well as respite, located close to Rockingham General Hospital.
This role is currently available on a permanent part time basis, 16 hours a fortnight. The work pattern is:
Week 1:
Monday: 3:00pm – 11:00pm
Friday: 3:00pm – 11:00pm
Week 2: No Shifts

As these shifts require you to be site responsible from 6pm, you will be remunerated at a level 2.1.
About the Role:
As a Registered Nurse, you will work closely with the Facility Manager and Clinical Nurse to provide clinical care and case management. Supervision, direction, support and leadership of nursing and care/support staff will also be required.
- Takes immediate action to ensure nursing care is delivered in a safe and effective manner, providing direction to Enrolled Nurses and Care Workers
- Ensures care plan changes reflect any change of a resident's condition
- Maintains an effective referral system to senior nursing staff, medical staff and/or allied health staff
- Ensures that clinical records reflect care, in line with all accreditation standards and legislative requirements
All Registered Nurses that commence at Bethanie will participate in our RN Mentorship Program. The purpose of the program is to support your onboarding experience and help you transition into life at Bethanie.
About You:
- Currently registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse
- Relevant clinical experience in an aged care environment would be an advantage
- Ability to work independently and professionally
- Ability to motivate staff and promote a positive work environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Well-developed computer skills
- Willingness to obtain NDIS Clearance
- Willingness to obtain National Police Clearance
- Willingness to obtain any relevant vaccinations required – 3x covid and annual flu
