Job tasks and responsibilities
Treatment room + CDM NurseWe require a dynamic nurse to join our dedicated nursing team to perform all aspects of General Practice including but not limited to:
- Sterilisation and infection control
- Cold Chain management
- HotDoc Recall and Reminders
- Care Plans
- Health Assessments
- Chronic Disease Management
- Patient Education & Health Promotion
- Ear syringing
- ECG & ABI Doppler
- NIP and Travel vaccinations
- Venesection
- Dressings
- Registrar training
- Promotion of Sunstate Services
- Compliance 5th Edition RACGP Standards
- Compliance Sunstate Policy and Procedures
Skills and experience
The successful candidate will possess well-developed communication skills and a caring, calm and highly organised approach. Familiarity and understanding of CDM and preventative health MBS items, and experience performing high-quality care plans and health assessments is highly regarded but not essential. This role entails working both autonomously and as part of a collaborative team of doctors, nurses and administration staff.

Terms are negotiable for the successful applicant - Part Time or Full Time. Above award pay rate commensurate with skills, qualifications and experience.
This role would suit a practice nurse who is ready to step up into a more diverse and rewarding role in a very supportive environment. The role would also suit an experienced nurse, at a stage in their career where they are willing and able to share their skills and knowledge in a mentor role with other nurses and new registrars.
